Those ‘8’ all important FAQ
1.
How do I book a session?
Well I’m so glad you asked and you are only a click away from making that all important decision and I am truly thrilled that you have even found this question, so please pop me over a message either on Instagram @theuntoldphoto, via Email hello@theuntoldphoto.uk or the contact form on my website www.theuntoldphoto.uk
2.
How do I decide on a location?
Locations can be a personal choice, you may have a favourite spot that you visit frequently or somewhere that has fond memories. So that would be a great start, however I can help in that aspect if you are unsure, especially within the beautiful Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire countryside on our doorstop. I talk more about this over on a subsequent blog post ~ Meet me, where?
3.
What happens after a session?
I will go away and cull through the 300+ images that I know I will have taken (yes, you guessed it I over shoot, but trust me when I say “it’s worth it”), once culled I follow by lovingly editing the selected images and then I will deliver a gallery to you that should contain around 60+ final hand edited images for you to then select, favourite and swoon over. Are you prepared for the level of swooning that may happen?
4.
What should I expect from a session?
All my sessions are very much relaxed, no forced posing. A small amount of guidance will be offered after which you will be a natural and barely remember that I am even there. It sounds simple but it really is only a ‘little guidance’ that I offer during a session. I suppose that sounds like I am down playing what I do, but the rest is in the ability to make you feel comfortable with me being there and that is through the communication we have ahead of our session, the guides that I offer and then the session itself.
5.
Are there props involved?
For both home & outdoor sessions I will have on hand ~ blankets, waterproof underlay (no wet bottoms, I promise), toys and even bubbles (age dependant). Other then that my style is extremely natural and the session is about capturing those intimate and special moments.
So pack the laughter and let’s go.
6.
What colours are best to wear?
Keep in mind ~ neutrals, earthy tones, off-whites, creams ~ these will compliment all skin tones, the surroundings and let your moments within the session do the talking. Steer clear of black clothing and replace for navy, and switch out bold prints for ditsy conversational prints. On the topic of colours, I cover so much more in the session guide that you will receive when you book a session with me.
7.
What if things don't go to plan?
Life happens, weather changes, unexpected naps, tears and tantrums happen ~ so we roll with it and adapt. If weather is bad we re-arrange, if an unexpected nap happens we can move the time ever so slightly to suit you, if a tantrum happens then we find the laughter and bring out the smiles.
Many questions are frequently asked, but it’s not your question!
